INDO444: Dayak mandau Handle

19th century Dayak Mandau sword handle on a custom metal base. This intricately carved deer antler handle has many intricate mythical Aso heads with large toothy open mouths and protruding tongues, spirals, hooks and small heads. The patina is quite good from age and use.    

Previously in the collection of David Pusack, Singapore.
