AF206: Kuba Pigment Dish

Kuba pigment dish. A finely carved wooden bowl with a great dark patina from age and use. There are remnants of the red pigment inside as well as in the details of the carving.    

Collected in the early 1970’s by an American doctor stationed in Abidjan.

4 ½” tall with a 4 ½” diameter. Early 20th century D. R. Congo, Africa.    ....$800.00
