PH753: Mindanao Shield

A rare and unusual ceremonial shield form Mindanao, The Philippines. The black surface and white inlay are natural pigment colors and have a good patina from age and use. This shield has both Bagobo and Mandaya characteristics and originates in that area of Mindanao
